800 number caution!
Non local florists and telemarketers imply they are Real Local Florists in a major city , but they are not. Look for a local phone number and better yet a local address. If you do not find either of these chances are you have a telemarketer who are hundreds of miles away, perhaps in Canada, as far as India, Australia or the UK. Many of these telemarketers will sign up for a local listing but do NOT display a street address.
Many of the sponsored links shown on the search engine pages are those that are directing you to one of these sites and will not display a local address or they may state that they are "servicing " the town you are looking for.
To insure you are receiving a 100% value in your order, deal with a Real Local Florist and not some telemarketer that charges an additional service fee (which they keep) and promise no delivery fee. When your order is transferred to the filling florist, the local florist in the town where you want your flowers delivered will deduct his delivery fee from the amount of the order, thus the recipient receives your order less the delivery fee.
On websites that are by Real Florists you will be notified what the the exact charges
will be----no hidden costs.

]]>We have a cut off time of 2 PM for the same day delivery on Mon thru Fri. Sat. cut off time is 11 AM as we close at 1 PM on Saturdays and we are closed Sunday.
The Flower Place takes great pride in the servicing our customers and the delivering of our fresh flower arrangements and to make sure it is received in the freshest condition. In so many households today we find that both spouses are working and with the weather here in Southern California we do not like to porch the arrangements So how do we make our deliveries? If we know that both are working we will call the recipient to let them know we have a delivery for them and ask them to please call the shop to give us a time when someone will be home to accept the delivery. If no one is home at the time of delivery, the door is tagged with a notice that we tried to make a delivery and to please call the shop to set up a redelivery time. The driver will call them while they are at the residence and leave a phone message to please call the shop to set up a time for delivery. We make this call to make sure the recipient gets the message as sometimes they will not see the door tag. If we know the address is in a gated community we will call ahead to make sure someone will be home and to have them alert the gate keeper that we are coming or to give us the gate code. For our protection we will ask for a signature for every delivery we make to insure your gift has been received.
